Comfort

Comfort is an ongoing series exploring regional natural flora through various darkroom photographic methods. This project began during my COVID-19 isolation as a grounding technique to connect me with my natural surroundings. With 'Comfort' I celebrate the beauty and vitality of nature's femininity, and acknowledge it as an integral part of the surrounding world: a nurtured strength of women through our connection with nature. I plan to continue this project as a way to create a relationship with my home, wherever that may be in the future.

Select pieces from Comfort will be featured in the Silent Fire exhibition. Select pieces from Comfort are featured in the Silent Fire exhibition. The show can be found at https://nastywomenct.org/silentfire , or find more information @thesilentfireproject on instagram.
